Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School is proud to announce that it has recently been awarded the Music Mark in recognition of a commitment to providing a high quality music education for all children attending our school.
Music Mark formed in 2013 when The Federation of Music Services (FMS) and the National Association of Music Educators (NAME) merged. Whilst FMS represented Music Services across England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Crown Dependencies, NAME was a professional network with key links to Government and educational bodies.
Their work reflects the history of the two organisations but has evolved and expanded its scope. Music Mark work in partnership with its members and other organisations in the sector to ensure a high-quality music education provision for all children and young people.
