1: Administration & Finance Officer

JOB OVERVIEW

Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School, is seeking a committed and highly motivated Administration and Finance Officer to start ASAP

  • 4 days: 16 hours per week, term-time only, including INSET days, plus 1 week
  • 8.45am- 12.45pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Days / times may be subject to change)

Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School is a unique Junior school in the London Borough of Croydon. We wish to appoint a Finance and Administration Officer who shares our vision “Aspirations, Expectations, No Excuses – VINCAM – Together We Conquer”.

We are seeking an individual who is well-organised, efficient, flexible, calm, friendly, motivated and passionate about providing an excellent support service to our children, staff and visitors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrate good communication skills that allow effective communication with all levels of parents, school staff, governors, pupils, contractors and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Practical experience in word processing, excel and email.
  • A passion for working with children.

YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Experience with working with young people.
  • The ability to work on own initiative.
  • Good communication skills
  • Attainment GCSE’s or equivalent, to include English and Maths at grade A-C.

2: Full-time Teaching Assistant

JOB OVERVIEW

Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School, is seeking a committed and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to start  1 November 2021 

27.5 hours a week, term-time only including INSET, 8.45am – 3.30pm  

Start date 1 November 2021 (fixed term until 31/8/2022, this may be extended subject to funding)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teaching assistant who shares our vision “Aspirations, Expectations, No Excuses – VINCAM – Together We Conquer” to raise standards and make a significant contribution to providing the best possible education for children in our school.

Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School is a unique Junior school in the London Borough of Croydon. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working with a wide range of class teachers to deliver excellent teaching and learning.
  • Working with pupils on a 1:1 or group basis.
  • Accompanying groups on trips.
  • Supporting assessment and evidencing learning
  • Working with the teacher to create stimulating classroom displays and learning resources
  • Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all learners
  • Creating opportunities for all learners to reach their potential, irrespective of ability

Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School, is seeking a committed and highly motivated Breakfast Club Assistant to start Monday 1st November (permanent, 6.25 hours a week, term-time only, Monday – Friday)
