For their Creative Art curriculum, Year 3 have been learning all about printing. In this case, the art of printing using many different shapes and materials to create a pattern. These patterns can be either symmetrical or non symmetrical depending on the finish that the artist is looking for.

The girls use a number of different colours and to paint their chosen printing pattern or “stencil” and then press or roll the painted stencil onto their paper to create their chosen pattern. As you can see from the pictures below, they are doing a great job. Well done girls!
