It’s Children Mental Health Week this week! This year’s theme is growing together so we have been talking to children and encouraging them to reflect upon how they have grown and how they can help others to grow.

One of the activities we did this week was to draw a support balloon naming the different people that support us in our life. Please see pictures below of two support balloons made by our girls. Mental Health is extremely important as it can affect academic learning. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices.

Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood through adulthood. Mental Health is ensuring your thinking and emotions are balanced, healthy and happy.
