At WJGS we are always encouraging children to be empathetic and supportive of each other. Next week we will be starting our ‘anti-bullying’ themed weeks. Children will be participating in lessons and workshops to promote an anti-bullying culture.
On Tuesday 12th November we are inviting children to wear ‘odd socks’. This will celebrate and symbolise the similarities and differences between us. The children will be encouraged to accept difference and treat others with the respect they deserve.
The internet has changed all of our lives, particularly our children’s. For parents and carers this opens up a whole new world of things to be aware of. For many of us, this can all be a bit too much.
