Another wonderful activity that the girls took part in on enrichment day was dance. They first studied traditional Romanian dancing, then incorporated steps from a variety of regional folk dances into their own composition.

We explored the geography of Pakistan and learned how Pakistan came to be a Muslim independent nation, the symbolism of the Pakistani flag and was inspired by the famous song ‘Dill dill Pakistan.’ pupils used Garage Band to recreate their version of Pakistan Pop Music.

As part of enrichment day, the whole school took part in a range of activities to explore countries throughout the world. In this activity the children found Sri Lanka on the map and then created wire models to show what tourists might do if they visited. Aren’t they fab!
