Well done to one of our girls for winning the Brighten Your Bag competition (paper entry). Pupils were invited to design a bag with fluorescent and reflective materials to promote the importance of good visibility when travelling in the winter months. #ActiveTravel @TFL
Year 5 Badmington team attended the Racket Pack Festival at South Croydon Sports Club this week. The girls were learning different skills and had an opportunity to play against other schools. We took a few pictures on the day, which can be seen in the gallery below.

The girls at Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School are thoroughly enjoying their music provision with Soundstart, @CroydonMusicArt, including the teachers! What a great way to end the week, with the sound of music. We took a few pictures of the workshop, which can be seen in the gallery below.
Year 4 have been learning the art of printing using different objects to create patterns. They will be experimenting with a range of different printing techniques over the next few weeks, ending a collaborative piece to show off all their new skills. Looking good so far.
Congratulations to our year 5 pupils who were chosen to become Junior Ambassadors for the Mayor of Croydon’s Charitable Work 2019/20. They will be supporting @MindinCroydon, @CroydonVision, @AshdonJAcademy, and @CroydonCitizens raising money for local charities. The first week back and already all the House Teams have been working hard to win team points. The total of the week is at 3623 points. Keep up the hard work and carry on being ambitious!
