Year 6 attended the TFL Junior Citizenship scheme where we were given workshops by the Police, Fire brigade, TFL, Money Ready and Southwark Council. We were taught about knife crime, how to avoid scams and fraud, how to protect ourselves in a fire and even how to detect counterfeit goods.
The head girl team are role models for the rest of the girls in school. They are responsible for representing the school at events, taking visitors on tours, collecting team points. Year 6 received their privilege ties today to mark their final year in primary and to uphold the school’s ethos of Aspirations, Expectations, No Excuses. They are our role models and we are sure they will all do a fantastic job.
The internet has changed all of our lives, particularly our children’s. For parents and carers this opens up a whole new world of things to be aware of. For many of us, this can all be a bit too much.
