WJGS Wear it Pink!
On Friday 23rd October, Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School will “wear it pink” to raise money and make life-saving breast cancer research and life-changing care happen.
Why? Because breast cancer is still here. It’s still tearing apart the lives of families and it’s still taking the lives of the women we love on a heart breaking scale.
Children are asked to bring in £1.00 to wear pink on the day and do their bit to help the millions of people that this disease affects every day.
ABOUT WEAR IT PINK
Breast Cancer Now’s wear it pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, thousands of amazing people wear it pink in their communities, schools or work places for the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now.
