This Friday 1st April, children and staff will be wearing something “orange” to welcome our new caterers “Nourish” who will be offering delicious school lunches for us from 1st April. Established in 2003, Nourish Contract Catering broke boundaries, providing fresh, wholesome meals against a backdrop of convenience and fast food in schools. Nourish offer a 100% Halal menu.

Nourish believe the use of good quality ingredients in homemade cooking is the real recipe for success. The Nourish team work with chefs in the kitchens and children in the classroom to develop new meals that everyone will enjoy.
Their menus change in line with the seasons to bring fresh and vibrant options whatever the weather. Alongside this, Nourish work closely with their clients to run themed weeks and special promotional days in accordance with the school curriculum. Nourish also work with school councils, arranging taster days to sample new possible dishes for the upcoming menu to provide Nourish with feedback.
Nourish are conscious of rising obesity levels in children and promote the importance of a balanced diet to one’s overall health. Their wholesome lunchtime meals guarantee the nutrients and vitamins a child needs, with a variety of carbohydrates, protein and fibre. Nourish’s menu is 100% Halal and fully compliant with School Food Standards and they take pride in providing nutritious but tasty food that children thoroughly enjoy.
