On Tuesday 10th June, our Winterbourne Junior Girls set off on a journey back in time. To the steam engine age as we took a fantastic train journey on a steam train at The Bluebell Railway.
The Bluebell Railway is a heritage railway running steam-hauled trains between Sheffield Park and East Grinstead in Sussex. Just a stone’s throw away from both London and Brighton, this historic railway is a true marvel that transports you to a bygone era of steam and locomotive charm.
The girls thoroughly enjoyed the experience and felt very blessed and honoured to have experienced this brush with the steam age. We took some pictures of the experience, which can be seen in the gallery below. Please click on the thumbnails for a larger view.
