It’s VE Day today and the 80th anniversary from this day on 8th May 1945 when Hitler surrendered to the allied troops putting an end to six years of conflict across the globe.
To end our day of celebrations at Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School, the entire school gathered outside for a singalong. We sang the Okie Cokie and The Lambeth Walk. Why not have a sing and dance along with us!
The internet has changed all of our lives, particularly our children’s. For parents and carers this opens up a whole new world of things to be aware of. For many of us, this can all be a bit too much.
