On Tuesday 21st May Year 5 set off on an amazing adventure of Science and discovery as they visited the amazing Herstmonceaux Observatory Science Centre.

The Centre is an interactive hands-on science centre which has been operating in the former home of The Royal Greenwich Observatory since 1995. Since opening, this unique attraction has gone from strength to strength and now offers Spectacular Science amongst the domes and telescopes of a world famous observatory.

The children had an amazing day, which ended with a wonderful tour of the observatory, which was truly amazing! We took some pictures on the day, which can be seen in the gallery below.
