It’s Black History Month at Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School and the whole school has been busy getting involved in a number of exciting projects and workshops relating to this fantastic month of history and culture.
The Year 4 children have been looking at Caribbean Carnivals and learning about the vibrant and colourful costumes, amazing music and dancing that is associated with these cultural gatherings.
With the use of the VR goggles, year four were able to experience a carnival as if they were on the streets marching and dancing alongside the procession. Truly amazing technology, which always wows the girls.
