On Thursday 4th July we had some very special guests from the Croydon Kambia Partnership, whom we are in collaboration with.
The Chair of the Mayor’s Charities Mr Ponnoosami presented the Kambia Partnership with media equipment enabling the school in Kambia to be able to communicate with Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School via Skype, Facetime or similar. WJGS also donated a number of fiction and non-fiction books to the Kambian school, which Mr Ibrahim from the Partnership will be shipping to the school.
We thoroughtly enjoyed their visit and look forward to seeing them again in the near future. We took some pictures of the day, which can be seen in the gallery below.
